Windows Standalone - 1.1
Hello everyone! It's been three years since I started working on this game and I never thought I'd be back to it... but here we are! Sitting Shiva has a chance to be exhibited at the B3 Biennale this coming fall and I went back in to find and fix it up a little. No big changes, as the last browser playable version was made for a permanent exhibition and I did not want to change it without also providing the museum with a new version. But for the exhibition later this year I needed a windows version so I changed the following things for the standalone:
- new title card
- new desktop icon
- a kill plane so if you fall off the world, you can get reset
- game closes if you hit Esc
- game reloads if you hit Enter
And that's it. I am still pretty happy with this project, even three years later. I have moved on to other projects and have learned a LOT about game making and programming. I have moved away from such abstract, wordless projects, to more text heavy narrative games. Maybe one day I'll go in and redo some more stuff. But for now, I am content. Take care, everyone! Thank you for enjoying Sitting Shiva.
