I needed to hear this today, so I figured there will be others who do too.

You are not alone.

Being transgender is an isolating, dangerous experience.

The mortality rate of transgender people is more than 50% higher than the average for their age group.

Suicide is shockingly high among LGBT+ people, especially among transgender individuals and people of color.

Violence against transgender people is much higher than average, the trans women of color make the majority of trans people killed.

In Germany, over the past years there has been a spike in anti-LGBT violence.

"Conversion therapy" is damaging, has scarily high rates of clinical mental health effects, suicide, self harm and trauma. You cannot change someone's gender or sexual identity, you can merely force them into lying about it.

All of these figures have large data gaps because the majority of cases stay unreported. Depending on the exact circumstances, it can even be safer for victims of violence to avoid the true cause of their assault.

These numbers are horrifyingly depressing.

The most common reason for detransitioning (which makes up less than 1% of all trans people who do medically transition btw) has been found to be lack of support from family, loss of support structures and experience of transphobia.

If you are a trans person and you are seeking mental health help, these are a few sources that have good experience associated with them:

Being trans is not an illness. Gender dysphoria is a medically classified condition in most places, it is a result of being transgender. It can be treated and even cured surprisingly well with hormone treatments and gender affirming surgeries.

I hope you are safe, friend. Take care!

This is a bit old but thank you so much for making this. I've heard many of the statements from the first level thrown at me and it's infuriating. I can't help but feel hopeless sometimes, but it's really bolstering seeing things like this out there.

A game is never too old to comment on and never too old for a creator to be moved when someone plays it and wants to share their experience or thoughts! I appreciate your comment a lot.

It is infuriating. It is devastating. But there is such beauty in our existence. I have a few other games that are about queer topics on here, if you want to see others that have maybe a little less of a downtrodden tone.  Take care, friend! Your existence is unique, special and worthy.

<3 Sending you love and strength. It's a really, really harsh topic. But the conclusion holds true.

Sometimes, it's not about the gameplay itself. Sometimes, its about the meaning :) Thank you for this.

Thank you for playing! And I agree, the value of a game lies in many things... To me, what people take with them after playing is the most important part.

(Sorry for the late reply, I missed the notification)

It was kind of hard pushing through the rooms but I'm glad I did

<3 I hope you are doing okay. It's tough, I'll admit I cried while making the game. But I am glad that the ultimate pay off is worth it.
