Ascending

A project that started to be made right around the time George Floyd was killed. The Black Lives Matter protests sparked internationally and the ongoing coverage on twitter, instagram and more  motivated me in the creation, so I chose to use this as a tool of teaching too. 

For a world where skin color is no longer a risk factor. 

For a world of affirming diversity. 

For a world where Black mothers do not need to teach their children to fear the police. 

For a world of peace. 

I firmly believe that education is at the start of every change. I want to educate myself. I want to listen.
